Class Descriptions
Please take a look at the class descriptions below to learn more about what Synergy on Broadway has to offer.  We hope you'll find some that are right for you.

Tai Chi Often called 'moving meditation', is a series of gentle movements, performed slowly and with concentration. By relaxing the body while moving, one can achieve balance, strength and energy. All levels.
Flow Yoga An active, flowing vinyasa style yoga class that focuses on proper alignment and the breath to increase strength, flexibility, cardiovascular health and self awareness. Modifications will be given so we can all feel successful in this class. All levels.  (60-90 minutes)
Beginner Flow Yoga An introductory class that is perfect for those that are new to yoga and looking to work on their flexibility, strength and self-awareness.
Kids Yoga A fun, interactive yoga class for kids age 6-12. This class provides an opportunity for the kids to learn, play and support each other in a positive, yogic environment. All levels. (60 min.)
Mat Pilates Focusing on the core or “powerhouse”, Pilates exercises will lengthen and strengthen the muscles of the entire body, improving posture and coordination. All levels.
Shimmy Into Shape  Come and learn the ancient art of Belly Dance while toning your entire body through a low-impact aerobic workout. In this class you will learn how to combine moves into flowing choreographies that will get your body moving to the beat. Join Emily for a chance to unleash your inner Goddess.  All levels.
Yogilates
An active, flowing class that fuses Yoga and Pilates together. This class will lengthen and strengthen the muscles of the entire body, while focusing on the core, linking movement with the breath and increasing self-awareness. All levels. (90 min.)
